About us

Avenues Norman Park is part of a family owned and operated company with 16 centres across Brisbane. Our centre is conveniently located in Norman Park in a quiet street and boast spacious play areas including outdoor areas with lots of natural trees, dirt pits and local birdlife that visit us daily.

Avenues Norman Park care for Nursery to Kindergarten age groups. We value positive relationships and making the most of each day, enjoying time with our children to explore, investigate and discover. Our staffing team is made up of dedicated educators that work incredibly hard to implement amazing opportunities for our children.

Generous Salary $80,000 - $83,000

Skills & requirements

Minimum of a Diploma of Children's Services or actively working towards A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)

Hold a current senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates

Have a positive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Have a moderate to high level of computer skills in order to use our online programming software

Proficient in oral and written communication

Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to build rapport with families, colleagues, stakeholders and members of the community)

Must be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccination
