About the role

Make a real difference in our current Melbourne CBD service. Deliver culturally responsive nursing care across our drop-in space and medical clinic, providing assessments, care planning, health education, and multidisciplinary support within a harm reduction framework. This position offers a blended model, with 2 days in the clinic and 3 days supporting clients in the drop-in service.

Community Health Nurse Clinic

Community Health Nurse - Drop In

- Build trust and rapport with clients to engage them in care, providing evidence-based nursing assessment, treatment, health monitoring and education in the drop in space and clinic environment
- Act within the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia codes of conduct, professional standards, guidelines, legislation, and regulations
- Work in partnership with the medical team and other members of the multidisciplinary teams




- Facilitate appropriate referrals and warm handovers to cohealth programs and external health and support services

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working with Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.
