Join Resources Safety & Health Queensland (RSHQ) as a Senior Web Content Officer (AO6) and play a key role in managing and enhancing our website and intranet presence.

In this position, you will oversee content management, publishing processes, web governance, user experience improvements, analytics reporting and stakeholder engagement across a range of RSHQ online platforms.

Working closely with internal teams, government partners and technology providers, you will help ensure our digital channels are accurate, accessible, user-focused and aligned with best-practice web standards.

About You

You are a skilled digital professional with a strong track record of managing websites and delivering engaging, user-focused online experiences. You can balance stakeholder needs with governance and compliance requirements, providing expert advice and support across a diverse range of audiences. With excellent communication and relationship management skills, you are confident working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels to drive continuous improvement in digital services.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have at least five years' experience managing multiple websites, with strong knowledge of web development principles, digital strategy, and website management best practices.



You will have proven experience creating, publishing, organising, and maintaining online content using content management systems and web tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills will enable you to provide practical advice and support to diverse stakeholders and build effective working relationships. You will also have experience working in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with web governance frameworks, policies, standards, and accessibility requirements.

Desirable Requirements

Ideally, you will have experience using the Squiz Matrix Content Management System (CMS), or the ability to quickly learn new content management platforms and technologies.

While formal qualifications are not required for this role, tertiary qualifications in information technology, web management, digital communications, or a related discipline will be highly regarded and will support your ability to deliver effective, contemporary digital solutions.

- A minimum of five years' experience managing multiple websites.

- A degree in IT or web management is desirable.
