Disability Support Worker – Shoalhaven Area An opportunity is available for an experienced, reliable and professional Disability Support Worker to provide individualised support to NDIS participants within the Shoalhaven area.

The role may include community access, social support, assistance with daily living, personal care, manual handling, domestic assistance and cleaning, transport to appointments and activities, and general support based on individual participant needs.

About You

You will have previous experience providing disability support, including personal care, and be confident supporting participants respectfully while maintaining their dignity, choice and independence.

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain where applicable:

- Previous disability support and personal care experience
- Willingness to undertake domestic assistance and cleaning as part of participant supports
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module and relevant NDIS training modules
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Manual handling training, or willingness to complete
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle




- Good communication and documentation skills
- A skilled approach to boundaries, confidentiality and participant choice
- Ability to work independently and reliably

The Role Approximately 25 hours per week are available, with the potential for additional hours over time.

Weekday hours can generally be worked within school hours, making this role suitable for someone looking for work that can fit around school commitments. Occasional weekend availability may also be required.

Flexible engagement options are available. Depending on the successful applicant's circumstances and preferences, the position may be offered as casual employment or an independent contractor arrangement where appropriate.
