You will be responsible for preparing and coordinating clear, accurate documentation that supports projects from concept through to delivery. You will ensure drawings are practical, detailed and aligned with the information needed to deliver each project smoothly.
Day to day:
- Developing concepts into detailed working drawings
- Preparing plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules using Revit or Archicad
- Producing documentation that clearly communicates design intent
- Coordinating information from suppliers and internal team members
- Reviewing drawings for accuracy,
consistency and compliance with the NCC and relevant Australian Standards
- Managing amendments, revisions and drawing issue registers
- Resolving documentation queries as projects progress
- Providing clear, timely information to support the delivery team
ABOUT YOU
- 4 years’ experience as a Draftsperson, Building Designer or in a similar technical documentation role
- Strong capability preparing detailed working drawings and interpreting technical information
- Experience using Revit or Archicad software
- Sound understanding of the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards
- Drafting licence ideal, but not required; at minimum, CPP40121 Certificate IV in Residential Drafting or similar
- A practical approach to problem-solving and a strong eye for detail
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
