About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draftsperson / Revit Technician to join our growing team on an ongoing contractor basis, working a minimum of 25 hours per week.

The role offers fully flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.

You will work closely with our Architect and Project Manager to assist with the documentation and delivery of a range of residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

- Producing architectural drawings and construction documentation in Revit

- Developing and maintaining Revit models

- Parametric modelling and creation/modification of Revit families

- Preparing documentation for approvals and construction

- Working across both residential and commercial projects

- Coordinating documentation and incorporating design changes

- Working closely with the Architect and Project Manager throughout various project stages

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

- Strong Revit skills, including parametric modelling

- Previous architectural drafting and construction documentation experience

- Previous experience working on Australian projects is highly regarded

- Based in Australia with current Australian working rights

- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- An understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), including fire egress, fire protection and sanitary requirements
- An understanding of the Queensland Development Code (QDC), including boundary setback requirements
- An understanding of the Livable Housing Design Standard (LHDS)





- An understanding of AS 1428.1 – Design for Access and Mobility
- The ability to read and interpret architectural plans, consultant documentation and relevant standards

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with team members, consultants and clients

- Confidence working within a small, close-knit team where communication is open, direct and collaborative
- The ability to give and receive constructive feedback and communicate openly when questions or issues arise
- A practical, down-to-earth approach and willingness to work collaboratively as part of the team
