An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join our Junior School community on a part time (approximate 0.70 FTE), ongoing basis from Term 1, 2027.

This role will be responsible for teaching Drama across years Prep to 4, including delivering co-curricular Speech and Drama workshops and directing the annual Junior School production, in a collaborative and progressive environment.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

- Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT Registration.
- Knowledge of the Australian Primary Curriculum and IB PYP as they apply to teaching Drama.
- Experience teaching Drama in a Primary School setting, preferably within an independent school.
- Ability to plan, direct and deliver Junior School workshops and productions.
- Contemporary teaching practice and effective use of ICT to enhance student learning.
- Strong classroom management strategies that support engagement and positive learning outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the broader Performing Arts team and other colleagues to create inclusive learning and production opportunities.
- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
