Nipakawa Steiner School is a brand-new initiative, located in the beautiful Southern Beaches of Lutruwita, Tasmania. Nipakawa means ‘wave’ in the Palawa Kani aboriginal language, which describes our wide-open skies, coastal location and surfing community as well as the rhythm and flow of our educational approach.
Nipakawa opened its doors this year with a combined Kinder/Prep and a Class 1. We plan to expand our early childhood centre and create a strong foundation for the future growth of the school. Due to very strong demand in the early years, we are looking to create several current roles.

You will be an experienced Steiner educator OR have a strong connection to Steiner education and have a willingness to develop your skills and understanding of Steiner pedagogy. You will have (or be eligible for) teacher registration in Tasmania, have a current WWVP card and First Aid qualification.
