Who can apply?
- Students in their final year of high school education (Year 12) in 2026 with desire to enrol in an approved four year Bachelor of Education course IN 2027 or
- Non school leavers who will be enrolled in the first year of an approved four year Bachelor of Education course in 2027.
- Be an Australian citizen
- Reside in, or be willing to reside in, the Townsville Diocese
- Be enrolled in the first year of an approved undergraduate Bachelor of Education degree or desire to enrol in a four year Bachelor of Education degree in 2027.
- Willing to work in a Townsville Catholic Education school for at least two years after gaining provisional teacher registration through QCT.
Students will be provided
- $2,500 for each year of an approved four year education course
- Opportunities to complete final year of professional experience in a Townsville Catholic Education school in accordance with your universities professional experience requirements
- Weekly allowance for final year qualified experience placement ($170 per week for rural/ remote or $140 per week Townsville).
