About the chance
The REM Business Partner operates within assigned stakeholder groups (Academic Units and Divisions) and acts as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding stakeholder priorities and challenges. The role focuses on diagnosing recruitment, engagement, and marketing opportunities then connecting client needs with the right expertise within REM teams. This position ensures initiatives align with the University’s Strategic Plan and delivers data-driven solutions that enhance student attraction, engagement, and brand positioning.
What you’ll do:
- Build strong, influential relationships with stakeholders to anticipate needs and identify opportunities.
- Diagnose recruitment, engagement, and marketing challenges using data-driven insights and internal and external market intelligence.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations,
engaging specialist teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Lead market analysis and audience segmentation to inform recruitment and engagement strategies.
- Identify, scope, and oversee major campaigns that support student recruitment and brand objectives.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience in these areas or in student recruitment.
- Expertise in market research, audience insights, and campaign strategy.
- Ability to analyse and translate data into actionable marketing and recruitment plans.
- Strategic thinking combined with practical understanding of campaign delivery.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $130,943 comprising base salary within the range of $101,821 to $111,917 plus 17% superannuation.
