We are representing an established electrical and air conditioning company looking for an Electrician to join their team based out of Woolloongabba.
This is a great prospect for an electrician who already has some air conditioning experience and wants to broaden their skillset, with the potential to become fully dual trade through completing a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
The role offers a genuine mix of electrical and HVAC work, with approximately a 50/50 split across the year depending on seasonal demand.
The Role
You’ll be working across a variety of residential and light commercial sites throughout Brisbane, predominantly on the south side.
The work is varied and can include:
- General residential and light commercial electrical work
- Electrical service, maintenance and fault finding
- Switchboard and electrical upgrade work
- Split system air conditioning installations and replacements
- Ducted air conditioning installations and replacements
- Air conditioning servicing, maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault finding and repairs
- A mix of installation and service work depending on demand
- Identifying additional work required on site and discussing suitable solutions with customers
There is also the opportunity to earn additional commission by identifying and upselling additional work while on site with customers.

About You We’re looking for a qualified electrician who enjoys variety and is interested in developing further within the air conditioning industry.
Ideally, you will have:
- Queensland Electrical Licence
- Experience across residential and/or light commercial electrical work
- Certificate II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems highly regarded
- Previous air conditioning installation or service experience also considered if you don’t currently hold the Cert II
- Experience with split and/or ducted air conditioning systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while representing the company professionally on site
- Interest in developing your HVAC skills and potentially becoming fully dual trade
