The business combines energy market expertise, quantitative analysis and technology to optimise a growing portfolio of assets.

An opportunity for an Energy Market Analyst to join a high-performing Energy Management team, focused on real-time market operations.

The Role:

- Monitor and optimise trading strategies across the NEM and WEM
- Analyse market conditions, constraints and competitor behaviour
- Develop and test new trading and optimisation strategies
- Work with quantitative and software teams to improve trading algorithms
- Analyse large datasets using Python, SQL and visualisation tools
- Support the development of trading,



forecasting and risk-management systems

About You:

- Background in energy trading analysis, market analysis or quantitative modelling
- Strong understanding of the NEM and AEMO dispatch
- Python and/or SQL experience
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Degree in engineering, mathematics, science or similar
