English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutor – Hamlyn Heights, Geelong

Matching Minds is looking for a confident and engaging English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutor to provide face-to-face tutoring in Hamlyn Heights, Geelong.

This is a great chance for a tutor, teacher, education student or experienced ESL educator looking for consistent part-time tutoring work.

The role

You will provide 3 hours of in-person tutoring per week to a student requiring support with English as a second language.

The focus will be on building the student’s confidence and capability across areas such as:

- Speaking and conversational English
- Reading and comprehension
- Writing
- Grammar and vocabulary
- Pronunciation
- General English language confidence

What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who:

- Has experience teaching or tutoring English as a Second Language / EAL / ESL
- Is confident delivering face-to-face lessons
- Can travel to Hamlyn Heights, Geelong
- Communicates clearly and builds strong rapport with students
- Is reliable, patient and well organised
- Can commit to approximately 3 hours per week

Teaching,



tutoring, TESOL, education or linguistics experience is highly regarded.

Requirements

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain:

- A current Working with Children Check
- An ABN
- Relevant tutoring, teaching or ESL experience
