Senior Commercial Finance Manager - Alcoholic Beverages

Senior Finance Manager driving governance, month-end excellence and forecasting across commercial P&L; and balance sheet for dynamic FMCG business.

Lead finance performance across one of Australia's most iconic beverage portfolios We're looking for an experienced finance leader to lead our Commercial Finance Operations team and drive performance across our Retail Liquor and On-Premise channels.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll partner with senior finance and commercial stakeholders, lead a high-performing team, and deliver the insights that influence strategic decision-making and business growth.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, you'll play a critical role in enabling Finance Business Partners to focus on delivering commercial outcomes and unlocking value across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Finance Managers, fostering a culture of growth, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Deliver best-in-class financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and performance insights across our Retail Liquor and On-Premise channels.
- Partner closely with senior finance leaders to identify opportunities, challenge performance and drive profitable growth.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations that support confident decision-making.
- Drive process improvement, simplification and standardisation across finance operations.
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance and control, including audit and JSOX requirements.




- Contribute to strategic projects and transformation initiatives that support Asahi's long-term growth ambitions.
- Enable Finance Business Partners to maximise their strategic impact through high-quality analysis and commercial support.

About You

- CA or CPA qualification with a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles within a complex, fast-paced workplace.
- Deep expertise across financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, performance management and integrated business planning.
- Proven success leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decisions and challenge constructively.
- A track record of driving process improvement, simplification and operational excellence.
- Exceptional analytical capability and the ability to communicate complex information with clarity and impact.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience partnering with leaders at all levels of the organisation.
