Wholesale Company supporting the Funeral Industry across Australia

If you have worked in an engraving (or a similar) role, have an eye for detail and care about the products you send customers, we want to hear from you.

We are a wholesale company that supports the funeral industry across Australia. We cater to a number of different areas, supplying products that ensure funeral professionals of all kinds can care for others. One of those areas is powder coated aluminium plaques/signs/markers and cremation/memorial urns and jewellery where we engrave these products in house. Your work load will vary from creating proofs for clients, creating jigs to engrave products efficiently, engraving jewellery with initials or fingerprints and engraving plaques or signs in either one of our two machines.

We are looking for someone with experience in engraving or a similar role where you were required to proof, create basic designs (we have a graphic designer for more complex work) and operate a machine (printer, embroider, engraver, C and C etc).

As our engraving room work can fluctuate and at times the warehouse need the extra support, we are ideally looking for someone willing to assist if required with picking and packing, while prioritising the engraving workload. However this is not a requirement.

Due to the sensitive nature of our business, attention to detail and efficiency are non-negotiable in all that we do. It is significant to us that all our staff work as a team and pitch in to assist if required.

The key aspects of this role include

- Running of engraver with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Proofing of engraving artwork
- Creating basic designs with the engravers software
- Email communication/order input (alongside client care team) and general stock management (alongside our procurement team)




- Learning more about the machine and how we may be able to run more efficiently, or create new offerings
- Assist warehouse if required with picking, packing or receiving
- Generally caring for the engraving room, keeping it neat and tidy and restocking suppliers where required

A large part of our business is the supply of cremation urns and jewellery for families to take all or a portion of their loved one’s ashes home or place at a memorial park or cemetery. Requirements

- Previous experience working as an engraver or a similar role
- A team player attitude
- Willingness to pitch in where needed
- Confidence using Microsoft office suite, other office programmes such as a CRM or ERP system
- Experience with InDesign or PhotoShop a bonus but not required
