Job Description

The Trustee for Sandhu Family Trust We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel or Motel Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of our property. This is a permanent full-time position suited to a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, looking after guests and driving the performance of a business.

Task & responsibilities Managing and coordinating all front office and guest service functions, including reservations, reception, room service and housekeeping Overseeing property security, together with the upkeep of the gardens, grounds, pool area and buildings Organising and supervising food services to the guests Monitoring guest feedback and online reviews, measuring customer satisfaction and implementing service improvements Managing the financial and purchasing functions of the business, including budgets, accounts, banking,



supplier relationships and stock ordering Maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests by ensuring compliance with work health and safety requirements Assisting guests with local tourism information and, where required, arranging tours, activities and transport Recruiting, training, rostering and supervising staff to maintain consistently high service standards Managing room rates, online booking channels and occupancy levels to maximise revenue

Qualification & experience A relevant qualification, such as a Diploma or higher in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field. 1-3 years of relevant experience in a hotel, motel or similar accommodation management or supervisory role.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold a current NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills. Sound knowledge of reservation and property management systems and online booking platforms.

Good financial and administrative skills, including budgeting, purchasing and reporting.
