We're seeking an experienced Vac Truck Operator to join our team at Dynamic Hydro Excavations' in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full time position that involves operating specialised vac trucks to safely and efficiently excavate underground utilities and provide non-destructive digging services to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
Operate vac trucks and associated equipment to locate, expose and safely excavate underground utilities
Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on vac trucks and equipment
Liaise with clients, authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate excavation activities
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Assist with other general labouring duties as required
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience operating vac trucks or similar excavation equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid HR or HC driver's licence and construction industry tickets (e.g. white card)
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
