Coastal Hydraulics is a locally owned and operated hydraulic service provider based in Cairns. We specialise in hydraulic hose repairs, breakdown services, and hydraulic solutions across the earthmoving, marine, agriculture, and transport industries.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Storeman to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position with career development opportunities. You'll be responsible for inventory control, ordering, receipting, and despatching parts as required, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders in a timely manner.
- Load and unload freight.
- Receive and process incoming stock deliveries.
- Complete receival and despatch paperwork accurately.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist other workshop staff as directed.
- Work safely and maintain high-quality workmanship at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in inventory control.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Current manual driver's licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Hydraulic knowledge is an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Forklift licence highly regarded.
