The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable Middle & Senior School English Teacher to deliver high-quality English teaching and learning programs across the Middle and Senior School. The ability to teach Stage 1 and Stage 2 English subjects is highly desirable as is a flexibility and willingness to teach within the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) learning area.

The role is full time and permanent - for commencement in January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students through engaging and contemporary English programs while supporting each learner to achieve their personal best.

This role also requires





- An in-depth understanding of the curriculum content and achievement standards for English across Years 8-12.

- The ability to teach SACE English subjects (highly desirable).

- Capacity and flexibility to teach HASS subjects (desirable).

- Foster students' development in language, literature and literacy through evidence-based teaching practices.

- Create an inclusive and positive classroom culture that supports student wellbeing and academic growth.

- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in accordance with School and curriculum requirements.

- Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Dedication to providing learning opportunities that allow every student to thrive and excel.

- Solid communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues in a timely and effective manner.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must hold a

- Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, or higher qualification and be registered, or eligible for registration, with the South Australian Teachers Registration Board.

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) certification

- Eligibility to work within Australia
