The HSES Manager leads the TROY health, safety, workplace and sustainability function across the Glendenning site, operations and remote workers. The role drives a proactive safety culture, ensures NSW and Australian compliance, strengthens process safety and emergency preparedness, and delivers practical sustainability improvements. It also governs high-risk areas including hazardous chemicals, controlled drug storage and security, critical risks, regulator engagement and emergency services liaison.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, implement and improve Troy’s HSES systems, standards, procedures and programs.

· Ensure compliance with NSW WHS legislation, SafeWork NSW requirements, codes and other legal obligations.

· Support safe work systems for employees, contractors, visitors and off-site workers.

· Facilitate consultation through HSR engagement, HSES committees, toolbox talks and safety updates.

· Lead incident and near-miss reporting, investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned.

· Coordinate HSES inspections, audits, risk assessments and critical control checks.





· Lead injury management, workers compensation and RTW activities in conjunction with providers.

· Track safety performance indicators and report clearly to site and SLT.

· Lead process safety governance across manufacturing, warehousing, labs, engineering and maintenance.

· Coordinate risk assessments for high-risk work, chemicals, plant, forklifts and contractors.

· Provide HSES governance for controlled S8 AND Schedule D drugs receipt, storage, use, movement and sale with authorised teams.

· Engage with relevant regulators, security providers and emergency services on HSES and high-risk controls.

· Deliver initiatives to reduce waste, energy, water, emissions and resource use.

· Develop sustainability dashboards, reporting and employee engagement activities.

· Keep HSES registers, evidence, training, risks and corrective actions audit ready.

· Coach leaders, supervisors and employees on practical HSES matters.
