At Bretts, our Allkind Timber Windows & Doors division is a premium supplier and installer of custom timber solutions for high-end residential and apartment projects.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be estimating medium to large custom timber window and door projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan & Specification Analysis: Review site reports and tender documentation.
- Quoting & Tendering: Prepare accurate pricing, variations, take-offs, and tenders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, architects, builders, and internal teams.
- Technical Advice & Handovers: Provide technical product knowledge to clients and ensure smooth, detailed project handovers to production.
About You
You are a client-focused professional with robust attention to detail and possess:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of estimating experience, preferably in timber joinery or in a related manufacturing/trade sectors.
- Technical Ability: Proven capability in reading and interpreting architectural plans and documentation.
- Software:
Proficiency with estimating tools—Joinerysoft, AutoCAD, or AWS system is highly regarded.
- Licence: Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
