Exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join our qualified and friendly team. Working closely with the project team, key responsibilities & abilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage variations, EOTs, RFIs, budgets and quotes
- Estimating commercial/residential projects from building plans
- Ensuring profit margins are maintained.
- Working closely with the directors and other team members on tenders & quotes.
- Sourcing and reviewing quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Executing tender requests and submissions.
- Estimates for variations
Experience & Qualifications
- Ability and experience in writing and preparing tenders, registrations of interest, and expressions of interest
- Minimum 3-year experience in this role
- Construction Knowledge
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer literacy, including competency in the use of Microsoft programs
- Knowledge of RIB CostX desirable
- Knowledge of trades and materials
- Outstanding time management, organisation & communication skills
