About the role





The successful candidate will be part of the Leadership Team of the City Amenity Unit, working closely with the Unit Manager and Crew Leaders. They will be responsible for coordinating City Amenity Services including direct supervision to the Crew Leaders who oversee our Precinct Cleaning, Drainage & Infrastructure Cleaning and Amenity Teams. To be successful in this position you must be someone who enjoys contact with the community and working within a dynamic team to ensure Councils City Amenity services are delivered to a top standard. This is a fast‑paced environment that needs clear thinking, someone who can make decisions and develop and empower their team. The successful candidate may be required to participate in the afterhours on call on a regular basis.

Skills and experience required to perform the role

- Completion of a relevant degree or diploma. Alternatively, substantial relevant work experience in the industry combined with lesser formal qualifications will be considered.
- Substantial practical experience in maintaining City Amenities teams,
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams, rostering and monitoring community service delivery.
- Experience in managing Safety, Environment and Quality outcomes in a community setting.




- Demonstrated operational experience in City Amenity services.
- Demonstrated experience in report writing and program management.
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence and Valid Working with Children Check.
