About the Venue:

Located on the Central Coast waterfront, The Beachcomber Hotel is a busy hospitality and events destination offering a range of dining, entertainment and Conference & Events experiences. With a strong calendar of weddings, private functions and events, we're looking to build our casual team ahead of the busy events season.

About the Role:

We're looking for Events Team Members to join our Conference & Events team for the upcoming busy season.

These are casual positions, with weekend availability essential. You'll work across weddings, functions and events, supporting everything from event setup through to service and pack down.

We're looking for reliable team members who are comfortable working across floor service, bar and event setup. Cross-training will be provided where required, giving you the opportunity to work across different event styles and service requirements.

For the right people, there may also be opportunities to pick up additional casual shifts across the wider venue when available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver professional food and beverage service across weddings, functions and events
- Provide efficient bar and table service throughout events
- Confidently carry three plates while providing table service
- Assist with the setup and pack down of event spaces
- Maintain clean, organised and well-presented event spaces throughout each function
- Engage with guests and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Work across different event styles and areas of the venue as required
- Work collaboratively with the wider Conference & Events team to ensure smooth event delivery

About You:

- Previous hospitality,



food and beverage or events experience is preferred
- Current NSW RSA Certificate is essential
- Confident carrying three plates
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced events environment
- Willingness to learn and work across floor, bar and event setup
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Weekend availability is essential, with evening and public holiday availability highly regarded
- Australian work rights required
