About the role
We are seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Upscale Funds Management in Toowoomba, QLD. This is a part-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to utilise your bookkeeping expertise in a growing organisation. As an Experienced Bookkeeper,
you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the operational efficiency of our accounting functions.
Your meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills will directly contribute to the financial health and compliance of our clients and organisation.
What you'll be doing
Tasks may vary depending on skills and experience.
The primary accountabilities for the role will be:
1. Coding and AP/AR management for multiple entities
2. Calculation of and preparation of workpapers for inter-entity transactions, invoicing, and adjustments as required
3. Assistance with preparation and management of compliance documents
4. Assistance with other administrative tasks as and when the need arises
With progression to
1. Assisting financial controller with end of month and quarter finalisations within defined timeframes
2. Preparation of quarterly BAS
3. Preparation of workpapers for end of period adjustments
4. Assistance with investor communications and maintenance of investor details
What we're looking for While it is preferred that candidates have an accounting or equivalent degree, experience is also valued. As an agile business we are able to match the tasks of the role with the capability of the right applicant. Experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel is essential.

What we offer HOURS: Part-time, but hours negotiable. Our ideal candidate would be available 830am – 3pm Monday, and 9am to 3pm Tuesday to Friday.
LOCATION: This role can be performed from either Toowoomba or Chinchilla.
REMUNERATION: Is set out as:
SALARY: $80,000 - $90,000 salary package (FTE equivalent including super), depending on experience, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 10%.
LEAVE: Leave is 5 weeks p.a (FTE). It is expected that approximately 3 weeks leave will be taken from Christmas to mid-January when the office is closed.
