Modern Dental Marrickville is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Dental Receptionist / Dental Nurse to join our established and supportive team.

This is a part-time position, with Wednesdays and Saturdays essential. There may also be an opportunity for additional days/hours when required.

We are looking for someone who already has experience working in a dental practice and is confident working both at reception and assisting our dentists when needed.

About the role

Your duties will include

- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional experience
- Answering phones and managing patient enquiries
- Booking and coordinating appointments
- Processing payments and general reception duties
- Dental chairside assisting when required
- Sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Maintaining patient records and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Working closely with our dentists, nurses and reception team

About you To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous dental practice experience – essential
- Be available to work Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Have experience in dental reception and/or dental nursing
- Be confident communicating with patients both in person and over the phone
- Be warm, caring and professional




- Be organised and able to manage a busy appointment book
- Have good computer and administrative skills
- Be reliable, punctual and a genuine team player
- Have a strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures
