We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious and detail-oriented individual to join our hard-working, dynamic team as a Casual Dispatch Assistant at our Newstead location.

This is a casual position commencing mid-October 2026 and running through to late January 2027, supporting our team across the busy holiday and peak trading period.

We are looking for someone with flexible availability across weekdays and weekends. Availability throughout November, December and January, including the lead-up to Christmas, Boxing Day and the New Year period, is important. Additional hours may be required during peak periods on an as-needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Packing and dispatching orders for AU/NZ retailers and ecommerce customers with a high degree of accuracy

- Processing retailer and customer returns

- Receiving and checking incoming shipments, which may include relocating, reordering and moving bulk inventory

- Assisting with other general warehouse and administrative duties, including but not limited to; stocktaking, organising and house keeping

- Assisting with the day to day running of the warehouse including answering phones, replying to emails and daily administrative tasks

- Preparation of invoices, packing slips and shipping documents

- Dispatch of PR and media requests

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience in a similar role with knowledge of day-to-day activities

- Be able to work as part of a team, follow direction, and prioritise tasks

- Be hardworking, solutions-focused and have a positive, can-do attitude

- Display a high degree of professionalism and have a high attention to detail and accuracy

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Have experience in customer service

- Have intermediate computer skills including Gmail, Word, Excel etc

- EDI experience is beneficial

- Must have 2 years experience in a similar role and excellent references

- Must have high attention to detail and be motivated

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy environment

- Demonstrated ability to be organised, hard working and good at multi-tasking
