Holiday Property Service (part of HPS Group) is looking for experienced cleaners to join our growing team. We support hundreds of short-term rental properties across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, delivering housekeeping, hire linen, quality control and guest services — and we're proud to have completed over 72,000 property services, with 1,200–1,500 cleans currently carried out each month across the Gold Coast.
We're after cleaners who already know their way around a fast turnaround and take pride in getting every detail right — because in holiday rentals, presentation is everything. This role is open to:
- Contractors (ABN) — set your own pace, work across multiple properties, invoice for your services
- Employees (TFN) — full-time, part-time, or casual positions available, with the entitlements that come with employee status
Whichever suits you best, our team will guide you through the right setup. As a Cleaner, you will:
- Prepare holiday-rental properties to a high standard for guest check-in and check-out (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas)
- Vacuum, mop, dust, polish surfaces, and empty bins
- Replenish supplies (toiletries, linens, etc.) as required
- Report maintenance or damage to management / property coordinator
- Work independently or as part of a small team
- Maintain consistent quality and turnaround times, even under time pressure
- Adhere to health & safety and cleanliness standards
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in cleaning — holiday rental, hotel, or residential cleaning highly regarded
- A reliable car to travel between properties
- Basic cleaning equipment
- Work rights in Australia (open to anyone with a visa permitting work)
- Flexibility to work weekends and varying schedules
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and sharp attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and take initiative
Depending on your preferred engagement type:
- Contractors: a valid ABN and Public Liability Insurance Policy (or willingness to obtain both)
- Employees: a valid TFN
