Job Description

Band of Brothers 007 Pty Ltd trading as Outback Gurkha's Bistro is seeking an experienced and motivated Café or Restaurant Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff, maintaining food and service standards, managing stock, and ensuring a clean and organised environment.

The Manager will work closely with the team to provide efficient service, maintain customer satisfaction, and support the smooth operation of the business. Applicants should have relevant qualifications and/or experience in hospitality management, with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with chefs to plan and design innovative, seasonal menus.
- Coordinate and organize special events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Manage the purchasing and pricing of goods in line with budget constraints.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and financial transactions.
- Ensure dining areas meet health regulations, maintaining a clean, functional, and appealing atmosphere.
- Engage with customers to assess satisfaction and address feedback promptly.
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.




- May assist in guest reservations, greetings, and order-taking as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in related position.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate the team.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
