About the role

- Patient reception and appointment management




- Answering and managing telephone enquiries
- Updating patient records and scanning documents
- Medicare billing, payments, invoices and receipts
- Managing emails, correspondence and daily administration
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
- Supporting doctors and nursing staff with day-to-day practice operations
- Opening and closing the clinic as required

About you

- Friendly, courteous and genuinely patient-focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Professional presentation with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and patient privacy
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous medical reception/healthcare experience is desirable
