As our business continues to grow, we are now looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team and take a key role in the successful delivery of our projects in Queensland.

The Opportunity

This is more than your average Site Manager position.

We are looking for a highly experienced construction professional who can take full ownership of site operations and project delivery, from commencement through to completion and handover.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining quality and safety standards, monitoring project programs and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, professionally and to the required standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, clients and subcontractors to ensure every project progresses smoothly and achieves the required outcomes.

As a Senior Site Manager, you will be expected to lead from the front, identify issues before they become problems and take ownership of the overall performance of your site.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

- Site Management: Taking full responsibility for day-to-day site operations and ensuring the project is delivered efficiently and professionally.

- Project Delivery: Managing construction activities from commencement through to practical completion and final handover.

- Subcontractor Management: Coordinating and managing subcontractors, trades and suppliers to ensure works are completed to the required standard and program.

- Program Management: Monitoring the construction program, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.

- Quality Control:



Maintaining a high level of workmanship and ensuring construction is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant standards.

- Health & Safety: Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment and ensuring site safety procedures are followed.

- Site Coordination: Coordinating trades, deliveries, materials, inspections and site activities to ensure efficient workflow.

- Consultant & Client Liaison: Working professionally with architects, engineers, consultants, building surveyors, clients and other stakeholders.

- Documentation: Maintaining accurate site records, reports, inspections, variations, defects and other required project documentation.

- Problem Solving: Identifying construction issues and developing practical solutions quickly and efficiently.

- Defect Management: Managing quality inspections, defects and rectification works through to completion.

- Project Handover: Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and prepared for practical completion and final handover.

- Team Leadership: Leading site teams and creating a professional, productive and positive site environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be:

- Highly Experienced: An experienced Senior Site Manager / Site Manager with a strong background in the construction industry.

- Construction Knowledge: You have extensive knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, materials, subcontractor coordination and site management.

- A Robust Leader: You can confidently lead trades, subcontractors and site personnel while maintaining professional relationships.

- Organised: You have excellent time management and organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

You have a strong eye for detail and are committed to delivering high-quality construction outcomes.

- Commercially Aware: You understand the importance of managing resources, subcontractors, variations, materials and project costs.

- A Strong Communicator: You can communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal management.

- Technology Proficient: Comfortable using construction management software, project documentation systems, email and standard computer applications.

- Safety Focused: You understand your responsibilities regarding workplace health and safety and maintaining a compliant construction site.

- Autonomous & Accountable: You take ownership of your projects and can work independently while keeping management fully informed.

- Licensed: You hold a valid Australian driver's licence and the relevant Queensland construction/site qualifications and tickets required for the role.
