3+ Years’ PAE | Established Family Law Practice | Senior Opportunity

Looking for a Family Law role where you can step into an established practice, work on quality matters and have some real influence over how the team develops?

We’re working with a well-established North Sydney law firm looking to add an experienced Family Lawyer to its team. They’re open on level - from a strong lawyer with 3+ years’ PAE through to Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner level.

For someone more senior, there is also the opportunity to take a leading role within the practice and help shape its continued growth.

About the Firm

This is an established commercial firm with a robust reputation, a valuable internal culture and a sociable team. We’ve worked closely with the firm for a number of years and have placed a number of lawyers into the business. Feedback has consistently been positive around the people, quality of work and overall environment.

It’s a stable platform with an existing workflow - you’re not being brought in to build a family practice from scratch.

About the Role

You’ll work across a broad range of family law matters, including:

- Complex property and financial settlements
- Parenting and parenting disputes
- Divorce and separation




- Binding Financial Agreements
- High-value and complex family law matters
- Negotiated settlements and contested proceedings

At the more senior end, there is scope to take greater ownership of the practice, mentor lawyers and play a key role in its future direction.

What They’re Looking For

- 3+ years’ PAE in Family Law
- Strong experience managing family law matters
- Confidence dealing directly with clients
- Good drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- A commercial and practical approach
- Senior Associates, Special Counsel and Partner-level lawyers are encouraged to apply
