There are 400 positions available on a casual basis (30-38 hours per week). These positions are classified as level 1 under the Horticulture Award [MA000028]. Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 4:40pm.
We are looking for up to 400 candidates beginning in September 2026 for a period of 9 months. The positions available are on Banana, Papaya and Passionfruit farms and the duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Bagging
- Bell Injecting
- Irrigation assistance
- Deleafing
- Desuckering
- Straining
- Harvesting
- Cleaning
- Packing
- Sorting & Clustering
- As well as any ad hoc duties within the competency of the employee
