We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse with community nursing, fertility, and counselling experience to join our growing team.

Purpose of the Role The Community Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care, assessments, education, and support to adults and children requiring services through NDIS, DVA, Aged Care, Child Safety, Community Care, and Fertility Support programs.

Services will be delivered in clients' homes, community settings, respite environments, and via telehealth where appropriate.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, families, support workers, allied health professionals, and medical practitioners to develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs while promoting independence, safety, and positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Clinical Nursing

- Conduct nursing assessments and clinical reviews.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate care plans.
- Provide nursing interventions within scope of practice.
- Administer medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Complete health assessments and clinical documentation.
- Support clients with complex care needs.
- Participate in health promotion, education, and preventative health activities.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Counselling and Psychosocial Support
- Provide counselling, emotional support, and psychoeducation to individuals, couples, and families.
- Support clients experiencing fertility challenges, chronic illness, disability, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, family stress,



and psychosocial concerns.
- Assist clients to access appropriate services and community supports.
- Maintain accurate counselling and case notes in accordance with professional standards.

Fertility Nursing Support
- Provide education and support to individuals and couples navigating fertility treatments.
- Work collaboratively with fertility specialists, GPs, allied health professionals, and other healthcare providers.
- Assist clients in understanding treatment plans and options.
- Provide emotional support throughout fertility treatment journeys.
- Support clients experiencing fertility-related stress, anxiety, grief, and loss.

Leadership and Supervision
- Support and mentor nurses, graduate nurses, students, and support workers.
- Provide guidance in relation to clinical practice.
- Assist management in developing and delivering community nursing services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing (Required).
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years' fertility nursing experience (Required).
- Minimum 2 years' counselling experience (Required).
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- National Police Check.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Blue Card.
- Experience supporting clients with complex care needs.
