The Role

My client is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to manage service requirements across Perth.

This is a home-based, customer-facing role where you will work independently across your territory, servicing and supporting sophisticated technical equipment.

You do not need previous clinical diagnostics experience. Engineers from laboratory equipment, instrumentation, automation, robotics, biomedical or similar technical field service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs at customer sites
- Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Support installations and commissioning
- Independently manage service calls and territory priorities
- Provide technical support to customers




- Complete service reports and documentation
- Support occasional regional and interstate work

About You

- Must have an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Automation, Instrumentation Engineering or similar
- Previous Field Service Engineer or similar hands-on technical experience
- Background in instrumentation, laboratory equipment, automation, robotics, biomedical or related equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable with occasional travel
