Direct Access and Equipment is a 100% Tasmanian family owned hire company that requires the services of a qualified Field Service Mechanic to join our Hobart team.

Experience in either hydraulic systems and auto electrical diagnosis would be an advantage, but not essential, to join us in this fast paced industry that is always evolving and never boring. If you want variety then this is the job for you. With back up training and support from both internal resources along with extensive ongoing factory support, you will always be at the forefront of this everchanging hire industry.

This full time position is available for an immediate start.

The successful applicant will have a minimum qualification of 4 year industry trade training, however a suitably experienced 4th year apprentice may also be considered for this role.

A full drivers licence and police check is required and either a fork lift or EWP licence would also be an advantage.



You must have the ability to work autonomously in a small team workplace, adhere to on site health and safety requirements and willing to learn and share knowledge with other staff within the company.

The successful applicant will receive both comprehensive in house training on our vast range or plant and equipment and we are fortunate to be supported by factory tech support including specialized one on one factory training.
