- Role: Field Technician – Mineral Exploration
- Location / Operations: Central and Southeast Queensland (including regional hubs), DIDO from Brisbane.
- Roster: Typical field roster 3/2 DIDO variable depending on access and multiple project localities equating 220 work days per year.

Key Responsibilities
- Field Geochemistry: Perform regional soil sampling, stream sediment collection, and rock chip sampling.
- Drilling Support: Assist Reverse Circulation (RC) and diamond drilling programs, including, site inspection, sample collection, and chip/core tray management.
- Sample Processing: Conduct core mark-up, core cutting, sample bagging, numbering, and dispatch preparation under strict QA/QC protocols.
- Site Maintenance & Rehab: Assist with basic earthworks oversight, drill pad preparation, track maintenance, and environmental rehabilitation of disturbed land.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to Queensland Work Health and Safety (WHS) acts, complete daily Take 5s/JSEAs,



and maintain environmental/cultural heritage standards.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Licenses: Current manual Australian Driver’s Licence (MR/HR license highly regarded).
- Tickets: Current First Aid/CPR certificate.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform repetitive manual labor and work outdoors in remote or variable regional weather conditions.
- Tech Skills: Competency with digital devices (tablets, laptops) for field data entry and logging.

Pay: $87,000.00 – $91,000.00 per year
