Your new role An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Finance Officer to join a collaborative finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller and operations teams, you will play a key role in managing high-volume invoicing while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities and payroll.
This hands-on position is ideal for someone looking to further develop their accounting career long term in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end invoicing in a medium to high-volume setting.
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate job and billing information.
- Investigate and resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies.
- Support month-end processes, including end of month reconciliations and accruals.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with general accounting duties and finance administration.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Payroll
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer or similar finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using MYOB.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with payroll
