Finance Officer (Part-Time) Cairns Based | Permanent or Contract Options
Your New CompanyOur client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation with a national presence, committed to delivering meaningful services and support across multiple entities. Due to ongoing growth and operational requirements, they are seeking two experienced Finance Officers to join their collaborative finance team.
Your New RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance function across designated business units. Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Credit card reconciliation and expense management
- Bank reconciliations and transaction processing
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting financial compliance
- Assisting with finance administration and reporting activities
- Supporting internal stakeholders with finance-related queries
- Contributing to process improvements and efficient financial operations
This position offers approximately 25 hours per week, typically from Monday to Thursday, with flexible start and finish times available.
What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, or similar finance position
- Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with NetSuite ERP will be highly regarded but is not essential
