Made of Stone is a stone fabrication business in Brendale. We manufacture and install benchtops for homeowners, cabinet makers and builders across Brisbane.
We're looking for an estimator to take over an established, busy quoting desk.
The role
This is an office-based quoting role. Expect around five quotes a day.
Prepare quotes in CounterGo from plans, drawings and customer enquiries
Work out scope, materials and square metreage from cabinetry plans
Confirm sink and cooktop selections, edge profiles, cut-outs and joins before pricing
Follow up your quotes and record the outcome
Deal directly with homeowners, cabinet makers and builders over the phone and by email
Convert accepted quotes to orders and hand over to scheduling with complete information
Keep your quote records current and accurate
You won't be measuring on site — we have templators for that.
What we're after
Estimating or quoting experience, ideally in stone, joinery, cabinet making or construction
The ability to read a cabinetry plan and work to it exactly. Millimetres matter and a wrong number costs real money
Someone who asks when a plan isn't clear rather than assuming
Organised enough to keep a large quote pipeline straight and not let anything go cold
Valuable on the phone with both homeowners and trade clients — they need different handling
Competent with quoting software. We use CounterGo and Moraware Systemize, but if you've used something similar, you'll pick it up

Full time, Monday to Friday, office-based at our Brendale facility
