We currently have a unique opportunity for a contractor to join the team as a hands‑on Fitter/Fabricator. You will work on a contract basis as a team member in the group's production activities. A background as a fitter/fabricator, particularly in the agricultural sector, is essential for success in this role. A person who has experience dealing with customers to problem solve is a critical skill we are seeking.
Key responsibilities
- Work on welding, fitting and manufacturing activities, particularly stockfeed milling or similar process
- Work with customers directly on product and technical solutions
- Maintain attention to detail and organisation in production activities
- Uphold safety and quality standards and good manufacturing practices
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency
About you
- Experience in welding, fitting and manufacturing, particularly stockfeed milling or similar process
- Experience working with customers directly on product and technical solutions
- Ability to manage your work schedules
- Attention to detail and organisation
- A solid understanding of safety and quality standards and good manufacturing practices
- Resourceful and logical thinker with an eye for improving efficiency
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- A current unrestricted driver's licence and forklift licence
