About the Role

We're seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a high-performing data team focused on delivering data-driven outcomes across the business.

This is a hands-on role for a BA who is comfortable working at the intersection of business stakeholders, data platforms, source systems, and AI-enabled delivery.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, writing SQL, investigating source systems, and helping teams solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Translate business requirements into explicit data, integration, and technical requirements.
- Write and analyse SQL queries to investigate data, validate requirements, and support solution design.
- Identify, access, and assess source systems to understand data structures, lineage, and business rules.




- Work closely with data engineers and technical teams to support delivery of data products and initiatives.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, requirement gathering, documentation, and problem-solving activities.
- Document business rules, data flows, source-to-target mappings, and functional requirements.
- Proactively challenge assumptions and help stakeholders define what they actually need, not just what they've asked for.
