About the role:
Pragma's finance function has evolved considerably over recent years, with our finance team streamlining processes and efficiencies to support the firm's growth. As Pragma continues to grow, we are now looking for a Finance Officer to work alongside and provide assistance to our Finance Manager.
It is envisioned that the successful applicant for this role will have experience working with a professional services firm within a finance role. Our incoming Finance Officer ideally be familiar with Xero and will be able to demonstrate experience navigating practice management software (we work with Actionstep).
You will be given 1:1 mentoring from our Finance Manager as you settle into the firm and will enjoy a high level of autonomy once comfortable within your role.
In addition to the above, it is envisioned that you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Drafting payroll;
- Completing bank reconciliations;
- Invoicing and processing accounts payable;
- Drafting trust receipts and submitting trust account payments; and
- Producing reports and analysing financial data.
