Golden Apple Super Store - IGA Leeton, are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Payroll Officer to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering day-to-day accounts payable, weekly payroll, reconciliations, financial reporting & compliance. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring our financial records are accurate and our compliance obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

- Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payments
- Complete regular bank & internal account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports
- Coordinate insurance matters, including obtaining quotes and finalising policies

Payroll

- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
- Manage PAYG withholding, STP, superannuation and payroll tax
- Ensure payroll reporting and compliance requirements are met
- Ensure employee payroll records and documentation are maintained appropriately

Finance Compliance

- Prepare and lodge monthly BAS and other relevant reporting obligations
- Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) requirements
- Ensure all relevant statutory and financial obligations are met accurately and on time
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation to support compliance requirements
- Liaise with external accountants as required

About You We are looking for someone who has:

- Experience in a similar finance,



payroll or accounts role
- Strong skills in reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll and financial reporting
- Experience with BAS, GST, FBT and payroll compliance
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Confidence communicating with management
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- The ability to take ownership of responsibilities and work across a broad range of finance and payroll functions
