/n We are partnering with a global leading healthcare technology provider delivering innovative software solutions to hospitals across Australia and the world./n

/n An opportunity has arisen for a CA/CPA-qualified Financial Accountant to join a well-established organisation on an initial 3-month contract. You will assist with month-end reporting and provide critical support during a busy reporting and audit period./n
/n
/n This role is ideally suited to a technically strong accountant with a solid audit or financial accounting background who can quickly get up to speed, work autonomously and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment./n
/n
Key Responsibilities/n /n
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
/n
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, responding to queries from external auditors.
/n
- Review balance sheet accounts and ensure reconciliations and accounting treatments are accurate and compliant.
/n
- Assist with financial reporting requirements and ad hoc accounting matters during peak reporting periods.
/n
- Partner with senior finance leaders and stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial information.
/n
- Identify, investigate and resolve accounting issues with a practical and detail-oriented approach.
/n About You/n /n
- CA or CPA qualified.
/n
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in audit, financial accounting or a combination of both.
/n
- Solid understanding of month-end reporting, financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
/n
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work within tight deadlines.
/n
- Capable of working independently and managing competing priorities.
/n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
/n
- Available to commence immediately or at short notice and commit to an initial 3-month contract.
