As the organisation continues to grow in complexity, an opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Head of Finance to lead core financial operations and provide the financial discipline required to support a high-performing executive team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role sits at the centre of the organisation's financial management framework.

You will be responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, audit management, regulatory obligations and financial controls across a multi-entity structure. In addition, you will lead a capable finance team while driving ongoing improvements in process efficiency, risk management and reporting capability.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading month-end, year-end and group reporting processes.
- Delivering executive, board and management reporting.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Overseeing external audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with Australian taxation obligations.
- Managing regulatory reporting requirements within a financial services environment.
- Strengthening governance, internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Overseeing payroll,



commission and partner payment processes.
- Driving finance transformation, automation and operational improvement initiatives.
- Leading and developing onshore and offshore finance resources.

The Successful Candidate

You will be a technically strong finance leader who combines sound commercial judgement with exceptional attention to detail.

You will bring

- CA or CPA qualification.
- Extensive senior finance experience within financial services, banking, lending, insurance, fintech or a similarly regulated environment.
- Strong expertise across financial reporting, audit, compliance and corporate governance.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex entity structures and consolidated reporting.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting requirements and stakeholder engagement within regulated industries.
- Experience building robust control frameworks and improving finance processes.
- Proven success leading, mentoring and developing finance teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and provide trusted financial leadership.
