Fagan Bakery Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team in Braeside, Victoria. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the maintenance and repair of Bakery Equipment
What you'll be doing
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of bakery machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment, and carry out necessary repairs
- Install and commission new equipment, and retrofit existing machinery
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery for assessment.
What we're looking for
- Formal trade qualification as a Fitter, with relevant welding experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and with a team
- Disconnect and Reconnect license an advantage
