Brighton-Le-Sands | Full-time | $80,000–$90,000 + super La Piazza is looking for a hands-on Floor Manager to lead service, support our front-of-house team and take ownership of the floor roster.
You will work directly with the owners, keeping service organised and making sure guests are well looked after. Your focus will be the floor and its team, with the owners responsible for overall restaurant management.
What you will do
- Lead floor service, allocate sections and keep the team organised during each shift.
- Prepare the front-of-house roster and coordinate shift cover.
- Coach and support floor staff, setting transparent expectations for service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to keep service running smoothly.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve concerns calmly and professionally.
- Maintain a welcoming, well-presented dining area and consistent service standards.
What you will bring
- Experience as a floor manager,
front-of-house manager or restaurant supervisor.
- Confidence leading a team during busy restaurant service.
- Experience preparing rosters and organising staffing coverage.
- Clear communication, good organisation and a practical approach to solving problems.
- A willingness to work alongside the team on the floor, including evening and weekend service.
What we offer
- A full-time position with an annual salary of $80,000–$90,000 plus super, depending on experience.
