Your new role:

As a Food Services Assistant, you'll play an key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality food services across Metro South Health. From meal preparation and delivery to retail, cleaning and stock handling, you'll work as part of a team to ensure patients receive the right meal, at the right time, while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and customer service.

- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Deliver friendly, respectful and professional customer service
- Work efficiently and accurately in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Manage time effectively and complete tasks to a consistent standard
- Adapt to changing priorities and confidently work across Food Services areas

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital: The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.

We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
