We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join the ANCHOR STEEL team in Ingleburn NSW. This is a full time position based at our warehouse and distribution facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring the efficient movement, storage and organisation of materials and products throughout our facility.
This position is essential to maintaining the smooth flow of goods and supporting the overall productivity of our warehousing and distribution operations.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move steel products
- Load and unload trucks in accordance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Pick and prepare orders for daily dispatch
- Conduct stock movement and inventory tasks
- Assist transport operators on site
- Complete pre-start equipment checks and reporting
- Maintain a safe, organised and productive yard environment
What we're looking for
- Current Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift experience in steel, building materials, manufacturing, logistics or warehousing
- Ability to undertake physical work when required
